Question 1

How do I place an order?

Accepted Answer

EveryDay Cakes and Zefyr can be ordered online: choose your item, pick a delivery date and time, and pay at checkout. For wedding and custom cakes, share your idea through Create Your Cake or on WhatsApp, and we will design and quote it personally.

Question 2

Which payment methods do you accept online?

Accepted Answer

Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Tabby (buy now, pay later) and Ziina, all in UAE Dirhams (AED). Online orders are paid in full at checkout.

Question 3

Do you take a deposit for wedding and custom cakes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A non-refundable deposit of 50% confirms and secures your order, and the balance is due at least 7 calendar days before the event. Orders placed within 7 calendar days of the event are paid in full when booked. Quotes are valid for 5 calendar days. See our Terms & Conditions for the full details.

Question 4

How much notice do you need?

Accepted Answer

The Grand Bouquet and The Petite Bouquet need 2 days’ notice and every other Zefyr gift needs 1 day’s notice, and some orders can be delivered the same day depending on availability. EveryDay Cakes need at least 24 to 36 hours. For wedding and custom cakes, message us as early as you can with your date so we can confirm availability.

Question 5

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Across the UAE.

Question 6

How much does delivery cost?

Accepted Answer

The fee is calculated at checkout from your delivery pin on the map. Zefyr delivery is free once your order reaches the amount for your emirate: Dubai AED 450, Sharjah AED 500, Ajman AED 600, Al Ain AED 600, Abu Dhabi AED 700, Umm Al Quwain AED 800, Fujairah AED 800 and Ras Al Khaimah AED 1,000.

Question 7

Can I choose a delivery time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At checkout you choose a one-hour delivery window between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Someone needs to be available to receive the order at the address and time you choose.

Question 8

Can I request a female delivery driver?

Accepted Answer

We cannot guarantee the gender of the driver. If you need a female driver, request it in writing by email or WhatsApp when you order. It is subject to availability, and it counts as agreed only once we confirm it in writing.

Question 9

What wedding cake collections do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Four levels of scale: Traditional (3 to 4 tiers), Royal (5 to 6 tiers), Deluxe (7 to 8 tiers) and Exclusive (9+ tiers, illuminated and special structures). Explore them on our wedding page.

Question 10

How does the process work?

Accepted Answer

First you share your vision: the celebration, venue, guest count and the feeling you want. Then we refine the scale, structure, finish and details with you in a design consultation. Your cake is then made by hand in our atelier and delivered and installed for the event. Cake tasting sessions are AED 300 per session, fully deducted from your final cake price once you confirm the order. They must be booked in advance.

Question 11

How much does a wedding or custom cake cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the number of tiers, the design and the flavour, so we quote each cake personally. Tell us about your celebration with Create Your Cake or on WhatsApp.

Question 12

Can I bring a reference photo, even an AI-generated one?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we welcome inspiration in any form. Reference images guide the design but are not an exact-replica promise: every cake is handcrafted, so small differences in colour, finish and detail are natural. Some AI-generated designs are not achievable with real ingredients, and we will advise you on what is possible.

Question 13

Do you provide cake stands or tables?

Accepted Answer

Not unless we agree it in writing before the event. Please make sure the table or stand you use is stable, level and strong enough for the full weight of the cake.

Question 14

Are there parts of the cake I cannot eat?

Accepted Answer

Some cakes contain internal supports, dowels, spacers or decorative items. We tell you when you order. They remain our property and should be returned to us after the cake-cutting, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Question 15

What are Zefyr flowers made of?

Accepted Answer

Zefyr tulips are handcrafted edible flowers made with agar agar, sugar, fruit purée, food colouring and egg white. They come in bouquets and keepsake boxes, and you can see everything on the Zefyr page.

Question 16

Do you make favour boxes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Favour Boxes hold 3 tulips each, with a minimum of 10 boxes, at AED 30 per box.

Question 17

How do I look after my Zefyr flowers?

Accepted Answer

Keep the box closed at room temperature to stop the flowers drying out, and enjoy them within 1 day. In the fridge they last 2 to 3 weeks, and in the freezer 3 to 4 months. They can stay out of the fridge for a couple of hours.

Question 18

How long do your cakes keep?

Accepted Answer

Cakes keep for 5 calendar days when stored correctly in the fridge. We give you storage instructions at delivery, so please follow them.

Question 19

I have allergies. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Tell us in writing, by email or WhatsApp, when you order. Our kitchen handles common allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and soy, so we cannot promise a fully allergen-free environment. Please also let your guests know what is in the cake. If you or a guest is pregnant or has a health condition, check with a medical professional first.

Question 20

Can I change my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you ask in writing by email or WhatsApp in time. Zefyr changes need at least 1 day before delivery and EveryDay Cakes at least 2 days. For wedding and custom cakes the deadline depends on the design: 10 calendar days before the event for complex designs, 5 days for simple designs and 3 days for filling changes. Changes may cost extra.

Question 21

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Accepted Answer

For Zefyr and EveryDay Cakes you can ask us to cancel, and we assess every request case by case. A refund is not guaranteed. For wedding and custom cakes, the 50% deposit is non-refundable, and cancelling within 7 calendar days of the event means paying the full amount. In exceptional cases a deposit can be moved to a new date if we have availability. Read the details in our Terms & Conditions, Zefyr Terms and EveryDay Cakes Terms.

Question 22

What if something is wrong with my order?

Accepted Answer

Tell us straight away on delivery, by WhatsApp or email, with photos if you can. For events with our staff present, tell us before the cake is cut.
