Roadmap
2004
Nelly’s Cakes started as a simple hobby, with a love for baking and creating cakes for friends and family. What began as a passion project quickly gained attention for its unique and delicious designs.
2007
As word spread, we began working with various venues and partners, providing cakes for special occasions across the Netherlands. This was a turning point, allowing us to connect with new clients and grow our reputation.
2010
We opened our first bakery and café in Zutphen, the Netherlands. This was a dream come true and marked the beginning of our journey as a full-time cake business, where we could share our cakes with even more people.
2016
As we grew, so did our cakes. In 2016, we started creating cakes for large-scale events, mastering the art of multi-layered, intricate designs for weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations.
2019
We took another exciting step by opening a new wedding cake studio in the greater Amsterdam region. This allowed us to focus even more on creating stunning, luxury cakes that made weddings and special events truly memorable.
2025
With years of experience and success in the Netherlands, Nelly’s Cakes is now ready for its next chapter. In 2025, we are expanding to Dubai, bringing our expertise and creativity to this vibrant city and continuing to craft unforgettable cakes for every occasion.
